Every recommendation we make is based on what’s right for your hair—not on selling extra products or services. During your appointment, we’ll explain exactly how to care for your colour at home and recommend a maintenance plan that’s tailored to your hair, lifestyle and goals.

  • Follow Your Personalised Hair Care Plan – We’ll recommend the products and routine best suited to your hair, helping maintain colour, strength and shine between appointments.
  • Hydrate & Strengthen – Weekly deep-conditioning treatments help restore moisture and keep colour-treated hair healthy and resilient.
  • Protect Against Heat Damage – Always use a heat protectant before styling to minimise damage and help preserve your colour.
  • Protect Against Sun & Water Damage – UV exposure, chlorine and salt water can affect colour. We’ll advise you on the best ways to protect your hair.

Booking Fee

When you book your appointment with us, we kindly ask for a $50 booking fee, which is securely stored on your client file. This helps us reserve your appointment and ensures we can provide every client with the personalised care and attention they deserve.

On the day of your appointment, you can choose to:

Apply the booking fee towards your next visit, or
Deduct it from the total cost of your service.

Cancellation Policy

We completely understand that sometimes plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you provide at least 48 hours’ notice.

If you need to contact us outside our opening hours, please email hello@thecuttingroom.net.au. Your 48 hours’ notice will commence from the time your email is sent.

Please note that your booking fee is non-refundable if the required notice isn’t provided. If you need to reschedule within the required notice period, simply give the salon a call during business hours or send us an email outside business hours, and we’ll be happy to help.  All refunds are provided in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
