Cass and her highly skilled team of staff are wonderful. I have attended the Cutting Room for many years and my experience has been excellent. Each visit, they take the time to listen to my hair concerns, and what I would like to achieve with my colour/cut each time. There is genuine care and attention to ensure my hair is healthy, safe to colour, and in its best possible condition. It’s a no nonsense, no BS, honest and lighthearted place to go.
12 months ago I started to lose my hair. My hair was thinning, and there was areas of my scalp exposed. Cass listened and provided so much reassurance and advice.
We trialled a product Cass recommended and I have had an unbelievable response to this. My hair growth has been amazing. I have half of my head covered in new hair.

I needed to move due to family reasons and in the beginning, I was driving over an hour for a colour and cut. Decided that it was time to find a new Salon. My sister suggested The Cutting Room, she had her first appointment there a month before. I have been really impressed. Amie made me feel welcome the moment I walked in the door for a consultation. Provided estimates of the services that she felt I would benefit from and have not regretted the change in Salons. I am a relative new comer to The Cutting Room, they were recommended to me by a friend over a year ago now. My original stylist from The Cutting Room recently left and since then I have been fortunate to have Aimee. What a little gem, with the first consultation and hair cut a plan was formed and we are now well on track with the end result not too far away. She is so personable, knowledgeable and listens to what you want and advises the best way to achieve the result. So happy to have finally found a local stylist who knows what they are doing.
I have been coming to The Cutting Room now for over 7 years, when a different salon burnt my hair. Not only did they repair the damage but also provided excellent service. I have had many stylists but currently my go to for the last 2 years has been Amie and she know my thick curly hair and works her magic. I would recommend to anyone looking for someone who knows how to manage curly hair.

I spent my life searching for the ultimate skilled person who could cut fun, funky, short haircuts on thick hair and then I struck gold and found Cass. For me being able to trust and have fun with someone’s skill and creativity is what I want from a stylist and we have made many changes over the years, all good. Plus she’s awesome! The whole team are welcoming, brilliant at what they do and importantly it’s good fun… and not somewhere you are racing to leave. The Cutting Room is the best and you’d be crazy not to try them……but don’t steal all my appointments!
Amie and the whole team is fantastic! The moment you step in you feel welcomed and everything moves quickly but calmly (if that makes sense). They’re clearly very well-trained in building customer relationships. You never feel out of place and lost. The snacks and drinks help too 😉

I have been coming to The Cutting Room for 17 years and I would never go anywhere else to get my hair done! Cass (the owner) has watched me grow up, while I watched her little corner shop in Riverstone grow into a flourishing and bustling business, even having to move to upscale the size of the salon!
Cass has always kept up with the latest training and technology for her staff, and it shows in their work. I have been through too many hair changes to count, and the hairdressers I’ve had through the years have always been so caring and considerate with all my hair transformations.

I used to spend nearly an hour every morning trying to straighten my hair and remove the frizzieness. Since I had nanoplasty done at The Cutting Room, I don’t even dry it at all!! It’s the healthiest it’s even been and I love it!! The girls are all friendly and amazing at what they do.
Amy was amazing. I walked in with not knowing what I wanted but she took the time to listen and explain things. I loved the atmosphere and vibe of this salon. From the time that you walk in to the time that you walk out, your stylist focuses only on you!! The level of professionalism is something to commend all the girls on. Not a typical salon for sure. A hidden gem out west.

I’ve been going to the cutting room for a few years, every time I’ve been everyone there has been amazing. You can feel the positive team culture and vibe, and they all go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. I also love that they have late night appointments during the week; when you work full time, to have your hair done during the week gives invaluable time back on the weekend. As someone a bit pedantic with their hair cuts and care, I highly recommend the cutting room.
